The Energy Finance Group at UT is an organization of MBA students at the McCombs School of Business who are interested in pursuing careers in the energy industry.
We aim to establish the McCombs School of Business at UT as the premier energy MBA program by educating current members and providing access to our vast network of energy alumni and job opportunities. Sending members to top investment banks, energy producers and consulting firms, we promote leaders from within the energy powerhouse that is the State of Texas.
The organization has historically been associated with Oil & Gas finance, and we continue to have a strong focus on conventional energy. However, we work closely with the campus Clean Tech Group to promote energy addition and aid educational efforts surrounding the Energy Transition.
